Makaton Supported Craft Workshop

Make 4 beautiful nature sun catchers.
Easy craft, adaptable to different abilities. Ages 8+.
Participant must be accompanied by adult family member or lifestyle assistant.
Fully accessible building – easy transport location next door to the Hamilton Central train and bus station in
Brandon House Business CentreOrchard Street Car Park is adjacent to the Station and Brandon House Business Centre.

Share a fun and adaptable craft time with us, practice your Makaton, maybe learn some new signs while talking about colours, craft tools, materials.

Everything is included to make 4 beautiful sun catchers.
Helpers can make the craft too !


We will have a craft and light *snacks for everyone. (coffee, tea, water, juice, vegetarian mini sandwich selection, deserts)
*Not guaranteed nut free

£10 for the participant and one adult helper.
Sibling are welcome to join the craft for £5 each.
Very limited places, booking is essential.

Scottish Pagan Federation Conference Edinburgh

Spinning and weaving workshops included in the conference ticket price.
Learn basic spinning and weaving in separate workshops while discussing the myth and legends of these textile activities from many cultures.

Hand Spinning Workshop. 
1.5 hour spinning workshop, all materials and tools included.  You are welcome to bring your own spindle if you have one.

£20 Booking is essential as seats are limited.

Optional £15 Spinning kits are available for purchase to keep with everything you need to spin- including spindle, wool and instructions.

Magic Nature Lantern Workshop

Make beautiful Spring Time Lanterns – includes all materials you need to make up to 4 lanterns, and 1 battery operated tea lite for safety. Additional battery powered tealights available for £1.

Fully accessible building.  Easy transport location.  Suitable for ages 10+
Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult workshop participant.

Crochet a Fast, Fun, Funky Hat! 

1.5 hour beginning crochet workshop, all participants receive crochet hook, stitch markers, wool and instructions to keep.  Learn the foundations of crochet and make a fast and easy hat.
